The Radisson Ffort - a good trip

Well i had a great 3 days and 2 nights trip to ,RAICHUK. Its some 2 hrs from Kolkata(would have taken 1 hr or so had the roads been in a better condition).We were at THE RADISSON FFORT. It was a big group-7 families which also included Kishore fufaji n Usha bhua.

It was a welcome trip after a lot of tension that i have been going through these days. Initially i never wanted to go because there was no one my age, but then i had to agree as my parents were adamant. And now....in retrospect..i really dont regret the trip at all. It was 2 days of masti & activities. The resort is beautiful....especially at night with all its Lights on. Just behind the resort is the Hooghly river....another beautiful site. And the brick architecture actually gives the resort its name...the ffort!!!The 2 days just flew off.

Rani had come along with us...and both of us can swear we were missing Yash. It was basically me & rani everywhere.All the kids were younger to me...but i did gel well with them. Thanks to Varun(Shyam uncle's son) & Rick(Bappa uncle's son)we did have a great time. Right from Evening games,to cricket match,Water polo (in which our team won), swimming(darn it i was in the pool for 4 hrs...& tanned like hell) to exploring the whole damn resort(which we couldnt fully),DJ Happy rocking us on the floor late night.......to The dandiya night...to ,the burning of ravan effigy, to celebration of dashmi(Durga puja...there was a beautiful pandal set up in the resort) with sindur khela...everything was purrfect!!!!We also have a video recording of the whole trip.

Well...our cottages were beautiful....you can have a peep at them in the cricket match snap(the white buildings behind). Myself and Rani did catch cold due to the continuous ac in & out....but we also had a gala time!!! We also celebrated Rick's bday there...and had yum cake!!!

Since my fufaji is adept at the art of Photography, he did take a few of our snaps the day when we were leaving( guys i was all tanned!!!)

All in all i had a nice time....and guess i realised...Its not good to crib about everything...sometimes outings with parents to such places is also fun(if not heaven!!!). Well....it has its small problems also...like there were some people who were trying to be friendly on the dance floor...but my parents were ON ALERT...hehehehehe....
